CHAVIS/DA RECORDS Signs Distribution Deal With BCDmg

September 21, 2006

Chavis Records/DA Records (QUIET RIOT, HYDROGYN, TRIGGERSOUL) have announced that they have entered into a U.S. distribution deal with BCDmg Distribution. BCDmg is well known in the major music industry for distribution of gold and platinum rap and R&B artists. BCDmg has created a new branch for the hard rock/heavy metal genre, leveling the playing field for Chavis Records/DA Records. According to a Chavis press release, "BCDmg has the industry power to deliver our releases to the many retail chains and mom-and-pop shops across the nation at the major industry level. Additionally, all current releases will be put into the major digitial download avenues over the next few weeks as we intergrate our products into the BCDmg catalog."

Commented Chavis CEO Bill Chavis: "Solid distribution has been the wall we've been trying to climb. We have had success with several other companies but with what we have in place with BCDmg, it is a whole new level of presence in the market. It's a completely new and different approach to selling music. This will open many doors for us across the board."

First up to hit the streets in October will be the brand new QUIET RIOT release, "Rehab", and the current album by HYDROGYN, entitled "Bombshell". Coming later this year will be the new high-octane release by TRIGGERSOUL, "Restoration", plus a few other surprises.
